Microsoft Project Server

Microsoft Project Server is the key component of the Microsoft Enterprise Project Management (EPM) Solution.

Using Microsoft Project Server enables your organisation to introduce and enhance team coordination, standardise management of projects and programs, and centralise resource management. Project Server also provides a central repository (in Microsoft SQL Server) of project data for analysis and reporting across your business.

MS Project Server can help you effectively manage and coordinate work for an individual, a team or enterprise - from ad-hoc projects to complex programs.

The functions of Project Server are accessed by users through two interfaces:

  • Microsoft Office Project Professional
  • Microsoft Office Project Web Access (PWA)

Project Server 2010 introduces some exciting new features, including:

  • Unified Project & Portfolio Management (PPM)
